It was a necessary move for Nintendo. If people had more money they would buy cd based consoles and publishers wouldn't have to buy cartridges from Nintendo. Sabotaging the economy was the only option.

My sister is on her third husband with two kids while also morbidly obese cause she hoards pets and lives in her own filth while blaming her husband for not cleaning up all the shit stains and trash she leaves behind until they get fed up and ditch her ass.

If you played RRT2 on the LAN with enough people who knew what they were doing, there was a decent chance your game would end up in a deflationary wipeout similar to the Great Depression. I don't know of any other title that had that kind of thing emerge solely out of gameplay.

It was also a lot of fun.

Anonymous No.11953770
>>11953527
Early on in the game it is in your interest to buy as much stock in everyone's railroads as you can before it's all snatched up. You can, and probably should, take margin loans to do this.

But if EVERYONE is doing that, and there's a hiccup in the economy or your company, share prices will fall, and if you're heavily leveraged you'll face a margin call and need to sell something.

In which case your best bet is to sell your holdings in other people's companies, which will depress those prices, and then THEY'LL face margin calls, etc... It's a downward spiral that can leave everybody bankrupt.
