>Don't be daft. People batted eyeballs at [game violence]
I am that anon, I wasn't allowed to play fps til after graduating HS, my parents took the goldeneye cart I mowed lawns to buy. I remember the mild outrage over mortal kombat and later gta III/VC/SA. BUT, consider how common it was for kids to play Fortnite 5 years ago. Game violence had some naysayers but ultimately became normal. Kids are constantly playing murder sims with limb decapitation and shit.
But if you put titties in there people go nuts.
Remember GTA:SA? It's a game full of violence and guns, we've all played some GTA, but it was the (non-accessible) sex minigame on the disc that got it pulled from shelves.
Sex is what actually gets banned and demonized and it freaks me out because sex is a good thing and shouldn't be considered on a level near violence / murder - nonetheless it's seen as worse.
