What is the most challenging /vr/ Zelda game, not counting the original two for the NES or the CD-i stuff?

Ocarina of Time Master Quest, but it's more of an official ROMhack. Otherwise, I'd say Majora's Mask. The later dungeons are tricky and a 100% run is fairly difficult with a lot of challenging side content to do.

Majora Mask. Unquestionably. Only the most hardcore Zelda fans can finish it. Unfortunately it's almost the major reason it get's trashed by plebs.

Link to the Past can be a little obtuse about where you need to go next once you clear the first few dungeons in the dark world.

Oracles definitely, followed by Majora. But honestly they are more tedious than hard

The only Zelda games I ever finished were twilight princess and breath of the wild.

I was just stuck on oracle of ages for awhile until I figured out I needed to talk to an npc 3 times in a row instead of just once. I should've shoved that lava juice up his ass for wasting my time like that. Incredible game tho
