Every time you fire in Perfect Dark something happens. Even if you just hit a wall, there's sparks, smoke and dynamic lighting. Such an immersive game.

kek gottem, talk about an overrated fucking game, albeit fun.

I got a gamecube because of how good the n64 was for FPS games, and boy was I disappointed. That gay barney block collected dust after I tired out rogue squadron II.

Every N64 game I've beaten so far:

>God Tier
Castlevania
Castlevania - Legacy of Darkness
Goemon's Great Adventure
The World Is Not Enough
Duke Nukem 64
Ridger Racer 64

>High Tier
Beetle Adventure Racing
Duke Nukem - Zero Hour
Doom 64
Hexen 64 (probably the best way to play Hexen until sourceports)
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Quake II
The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye

>Good Tier
Quake
Quest 64
Bomberman 64
Resident Evil 2 (worst version of RE2)
Super Smash Bros
Turok 2 - Seeds of Evil
Turok 3 - Shadow of Oblivion

>Low Tier
Daikatana
The Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask

I also have a bunch on stuff on my to play list including Shadow of the Empire which looks just like my jam except every emu I've tried to run it so far on makes it lag. Indiana Jones and Shadow Gate 64 might be good too, as well as Jet Force Gemini, Sin & Punishment and Mischieft Makers (maybe) and Wave Race 64
I really don't give a shit about Mario 64 or SMK 64, every time I try them I ended up hating them. Not interested in the trendy so called "3D platformers" that don't involve any platforming at all but maybe one day I'll check out.

People talk about how perfect Star Fox 64 is, but I never hear people talk about how it was perfect for a rental game.

With something like Zelda, you'd just pick up someone else's save file. But Star Fox? Every playthrough is only one sitting, and the arcade style high score system means you'd be comparing yourself to every other person in your general vicinity who rented that particular cartridge. It's an experience you could only really have if you lived int he time of video stores, Zoomers who emulate can't know this experience.

Why has nobody else posted their collection yet? I used to have 10 more games, but I had money problems a few years back and had to sell some of them. I'm trying to remember what they all were. I had...
WCW/NWO World Tour
Rampage World Tour
Pokemon Stadium
Vigilante 8
Perfect Dark
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
WWF Attitude
I haven't really felt the need to reacquire any of those again, though Vigilante 8 is the one that would tempt me the most.

I've been trying for HOURS to get ParaLLEl Launcher's pre-packaged installation of RetroArch (It's in AppData\Local) to load shaders and something somewhere is hard-disabling the feature to the point where it didn't even let me enable the feature until I replaced it with the latest nightly build. Very rarely I will actually get it to fully load CRT Royale but then ParaLLEl Launcher just resets it all. What do I do and who is responsible for this?

I recently got back into the n64. Itโ€™s pretty fun. So far Iโ€™ve played a ton of f-zero, star fox, NWO world tour, and hybrid heaven. Iโ€™m surprised how much Iโ€™ve been enjoying it all. What are some of you guys recs?
