Reminder that the type of image people associate with composite is a mix of the cable + the NTSC standard. Composite on PAL systems looked clearer and more similar to S-Video.
Begs reminding, since people here just want to fuck that yellow cable for some reason.

it all depends on what came with the console, barely anyone was going out of their way to buy better cables much less a newer tv with more video inputs just for vidya.
I played SNES on RF and PS1/2 on composite, the main benefit wasn't sharper pixels or colors it was not having to wiggle the damn RF box to make white dot crawl go away
