Yes, it's at least got comparable games to the big three. Infact gex is a 3do game.

3DO is pretty much PlayStation 0, they blend into each other well. The others were dead ends.

hard to say. i had the Jag but i wish i had the other ones too, especially the 3DO and FM Towns. it probably depends on which type of games you like the most.
it's a shame it didn't last longer.

Honestly the Marty. FM Towns actually has a library. 3DO in second, was the first console to have Policenauts and Gex at least.

I honestly think it might be the shitcube. The console and its pathetic library is too lackluster, barebones, empty, and lacking to compete with the 6th gens. And even in the 5th gen, the N64 and PS 1 still shit all over the shitcube.

Oddly Dolphin has clickable sticks in the emulator but i guess no game ever used them.

The truth with that thing is it's universally terrible with no redeeming values other than the fact that it's the home platform for Smash Bros Melee. If they didn't luck into accidentally making the most popular fighter of all time that isn't a Street Fighter/KoF/Virtua Fighter clone, all the cope you hear from the tendies about it having the "best controller of all time." wouldn't exist.

Other than the Wii and NES, Nintendo's home console business has never had any resounding successes. That's the primary reason why the successor to the 3DS got turned into a hybrid home console and the original console division was quietly shuttered. It took 20 years and working for 3 companies, but Mark Cerny finally beat them enough times that they gave up.
