Imagine playing such a nasty, malignant game as a child full of; death, decay, gangrape, extortion, lost dreams, domestic abuse, hopelessness, mental illness, suicide, and idealizing it as a cornerstone of your development.

No wonder millennials turned out so fucked up.

Bin Laden had a copy with him when they killed him. And a copy of Antz! Presumably the movie.
It delves into real world stuff. Humans are dirty and this game wanted to show that.
It's a wild game. It made a big impact on the world.
>>11973452
Good, you don't have to access that scene. It's an RPG, It'll let you skip that stuff. But I'm sure you know it's there.

The way American hate Barney specifically so much is actually crazy. His character is completely benign aside from being created by Christian soccer mums who hired a negro sex guru to play him. You didn't have to suffer the absolute developmental horror that was the Teletubbies, which might be worse than Spiderman x Elsa.

You mean a game that respects the intelligence of its audience, and realizes kids can handle subject matter more mature than your average Teletubbies episode?
Millennials are fucked up, I'll grant you. But they were much better equipped to handle challenging subject matter, and challenges in general, than zoomers are today.

We got Teletubbies in America too, it was a big thing to make fun of for a while too (especially Tinky Winky). The whole "Is Tinky Winky gay?" thing, the purple teletubby with a triangle on top. People talked about the baby sun and overall how stupid and weird the show was, asking if it was bad for kids. But Barney hate was more first half of 90s with Teletubbies being late 90s.

Fuck, are triangles actually gay or not? That was what they said but I haven't heard it since much.

>A pink triangle is a symbol for the LGBT community. Initially intended as a badge of shame, it was later reappropriated as a positive symbol of self-identity. It originated in Nazi Germany in the 1930s and 1940s as one of the Nazi concentration camp badges, distinguishing those imprisoned because they had been identified by authorities as gay men.[1][2] In the 1970s, it was revived as a symbol of protest against homophobia, and has since been adopted by the larger LGBT community as a popular symbol of LGBT pride and the LGBT movements and queer liberation movements.[3][4]

The overall message of FF7 is one of hope, describing the game like this is on the same level as the people who say Persona 3 is some kind of depression simulator because the main character dies at the end.

I didn't know anything about Barney when I was a kid other than that I found the show extremely fucking boring even when I was 4 or 5 and would always turn off the TV and find something else to do when it came on.
