Thoughts on Misadventures of Tron Bonne? I'm liking it so far, but it's a hell of a departure from Legends.

I completely skipped the ruins as a kid. It wasn't until emulating it many years later that I was finally able to complete the game. I missed out on a large part of the game, blew my mind.

I like the idea of Legends gameplay via a mech suit + proto-Pikmin mechanics with the servbots, but it ends up half baked and not running full steam with the concept. A sequel with more focus on ps2 could have been dope.

I liked it a lot, it’s a game that holds a very special place in my heart. It’s absolutely bursting at the seams with personality even if the gameplay is rather mediocre, all things considered.

As a game, it's a really nice premise - you're a pirate trying to make a million, and you can do that any criminal way you like - but the actual mini-games are all half baked, there's just not enough there, and what there is is just too easy. Weirdly, it feels like a really early forerunner to the Yakuza games, in some ways.

As an extra bit of Legends, though, it's great. It at least doesn't skimp on humour, and you can tell they loved the characters.

In an alternate universe where this series was popular, Capcom would've had minions before minions with the servbots

I had always assumed the designs for the Minions borrowed heavily from the Servbots.

I'm usually the one switching voice audio to Japanese or using detranslation patches, but I LOVE the English voicework in this game for Tron and the Servbots especially. Their voices are absolutely perfect.

All the Legends games had pretty good dubbing. It still baffles me that entries like 8 and X4 had such atrocious dubs that they're still being meme'd to this day, yet Legends being made around the same time came off so much better.

I was playing a NASCAR game recently (of all things) that has a minigame where you sign signatures via QTE to increase your fanbase. I watched my reaction time degrade in realtime, it was absolutely surreal. When I first started I could nail 95-100% of the button prompts no sweat. within three days I could barely break 50%. and it's not like it gets more difficult, it's the same thing every time just with different patterns. I was legit forgetting where the buttons were on my controller

If you don't want to use a guide but do want good spots for scouting, try D4, B4, and A1

This boss is the only bullshit boss I fought so far, it never feels like jumping and shooting is the intended way to fight him
