Obligatory. Though I don't remember being particularly bothered by him the first time round, he was just something to avoid.

Right? Thalassophobia deluxe: Game Edition. I too dreaded that part. Now it's not so bad, but the roars from that thing don't help matters.

No one ever thought that scene was anything but hilarious. It’s like that kid who did the joker monologue in high school type of energy.

I always thought those scenes were Nintendo intentionally mocking the people who wanted "dark Zelda"

I was freaked out by Twilight Princess not because of that, but because I fucked up on the burning bridge and died unceremoniously before I realized what the fuck I was supposed to do.
Put the game down for a week when it happened because it was some bleak and depressing shit.

Yeah I got major anxiety fighting emerald weapon. Also this, the ocean as a kid was so creepy >>12007876 I also got unnerved in shinra hq when you go to jail and wake up with the blood trail and the heart pumping creepy music. Also the whole mt. Nibel flashback scene is just unsettling, then sephiroth sets the town on fire, also when sephiroth rips jenova from her incubator and also when cloud loses his mind and he starts to realize the mako injections made him a mindless zombie that adopted his friend who died saving hims whole persona and he's been living a lie. Ffvii has great plot points for character development and as a preteen some of it was super intense. Even as an adult I enjoy the storyline. Also I was 6 when resident evil came out and my older brother scared the ever living fuck out of me with it. To the point I would wake up in the middle of the night screaming for God to save me from the zombies.

>he's staring at you at the cave entrance
>he's staring at you coming out of the Gelnika

When all I could see in it was the Neue Ziel, it didn't bother me a bit. When I realised it's laser ports are actually staring eyes, and it's a big screaming face floating around at the bottom of the sea, that bugged me out a little.
