First game you ever finished
What is yours?
For me it is Kabuki Quantum Fighter on NES. For a long time I just gave up on the last level by turning of the console because it was way difficult, untill one day I decided to "at least try" and managed to win. I must've been 8 or 10.

I watched my father autistically replay SMB1 so many times that I was able to finish it myself, this is sort of how when you get stuck in an action game and watch a longplay to learn about a working strat. I was pretty bad at video games back in the days, even during the PS1 days I always used Gameshark

Probably this one. It was pretty challenging due to platforming and purpose of some items, but I remember making it to the end at very young age.

It was Sonic the Hedgehog for the SEGA Mega Drive, on the Gens emulator, with a keyboard, on the family's Ubuntu desktop, back then GNOME 2 was the DE.
