Everyone was trying to say their game was educational back then because they were trying to sell computers to families with children. This was very common with CD-ROM based games where they would put little educational videos in to pad out the disc space. Castles II: Siege and Conquest did this too, it's where I learned about machicolations as a kid.

I was so fucking pissed. I had an epic run going with sword, Sutra, bow, and arrows. I hadn't died yet and was feeling invincible, then the stupid fucking ghost board came out of nowhere and killed my ass. The ressurection was sick and all, but man do I hate that fucking board.
