Anyfing like pikrelated ?
Hi. So I like this. Never really played nor cared of VNs. Still think of them quite low. I am not specifically interested in VNs, but can try them out at the end of the day. What I like about pikrelated the most is that it feels like being able to peer into another dimension or a similar world but one that operates on different physics and logic. Very surreal. And I don't mean regular video game immersion. It's something llike a "screensaver" to me or a demo loop in an electronics store (like when they used to play waterfall videos on bunch of TVs) that can be interacted with much more than merely viewing it. The fact that you can walk around stylish 3D environments in this game with grid based tank controls helps a lot to elevate it over read-only boredom. Is there something similar, or with even more gameplay? No, I'm not looking for specifically grid based party crawlers and such, at all. I can put this game on pause and return whenever, be it in 10 minutes or 10 hours. It existing on my screen with the 2000s music playing is fulfilling enough.

One thing that compares to this for me ever so slightly is using The Sims 2 to construct strange looking interiors and then flying around without the HUD and observing the sims in it doing their stuff, like a ghost visitor.

Yes these are called ADVs, not visual novels
