Change of pace, lets talk about games we like. Shill me your favorite PS1 games.
I had a PS1 as a kid, but only had two games (Zero Divide and Raystorm, and a stack of demo discs) so I feel I may have missed out.
I borrowed and completed FF7, FF8, and Brave Fencer Musashi. Is there a way to force SSF2X for sega system dreamcast into 240p or 224p mode?

Any of them desu, I don't think there's a single bad game on the PS1, most of the "bad" games are still leagues above anything on other systems.
Just my $0.02 they really do not make games like they did back in those days.

I'm playing MediEvil right now and it's on its way to be one of my favorite PSX games ever. Up there with Resident Evil 3 and Tomb Raider 1.

Speaking of Tomb Raider, PS1 Tomb Raider might be one of the best games ever made. Especially that version because it has a checkpoint system that makes it much more tense and it really adds to that feeling of exploration and danger and being on your toes constantly.

Hell yeah. Loved Evil Zone growing up and still do. The combat might not be super in depth, but the characters and general lore are way better than they have any business being.

NTA but he's mostly right. There really was something magical in the air during the times when developers were making PlayStation and Mega Drive games. I don't know how, but the number of good games on those two consoles specifically is unbelievable. Legitimately more good than bad, and even a lot of what people claim are "bad" PlayStation or Mega Drive games are often legitimately not that bad. I have not found any other consoles to have ever been like this.

This sounds like a huge bias. I could say the same about the PS4 if I really did my best. Because to be fair a lot of those modern style movieslop games or CoD games and whatever the fuck are actually very entertaining and playable and really not "bad". Hell I've seen Last of Us 2 gameplay that looks really awesome honestly.
