Stop lying. Safer Sephiroth gets stats and HP boosts if you high enough level and kill Jenova Synthesis, the first boss of the final boss gauntlet fast enough. Also it applies to the second boss Bizarro Sephiroth. Regularly you would have 2 parties fighting it but if your level high enough and you have both optional characters Yuffia and Vincent, it becomes 3 party fight.

KoTR doesn't affect Ruby Weapon or Emerald Weapon. The guides tell you to use KoTR spam, mime, Final Attack + Phoenix, but they take ages to grind to full to use them multiple times. Instead you can simply use multiple counter attacks, 4xCut and multi-hit limit breaks (Cloud, Cid, Barret) and you kill them faster with less grind needed.

Exactly. Chocobo racing does have nice rewards though so breeding chocobos and racing them nets you good stuff and if the race's rewards is useless, you can take it as GP instead. Once you got your golden chocobo and got all the rewards from the Chocobo Racing, you should have enough GP and equpiment and materia to tackle Battle Square for W-Summon and Omnislash and after getting them, the Special Round opens. I'd argue KoTR can be used in Battle Square to secure victory in final rounds if you facing the ghost ship and in special battle final round facing the Proud Clod if your 4xCut was lost due command materia breaking or you getting mini or any other attack power or HP lowering penalty
