OG xbox was my birthday gift from grandma. I managed to fuck up softmodding and being new and young I sent it to some guy on forums from states to fix it. The shipping cost a lot since I am in europe but he did send it back fixed. Still have it with me, a 1.6. People say its the worst version and that it doesn't run in HD some games, but I found out if you run the game through dashboard at same resolution as the game will launch, everything works fine (so if game will launch in 720p, your dashboard must be set to 720p).

Also gave away a psp to a friend recently who ghosted me shortly after but oh well.

Seventeen if I didn't miscount. Most of them were from my older brother giving them to me, or my mom buying them for me when I was younger. I just never got rid of them. I did get a PS2 from my neighbor and a 2600 from my coworker. I also have three GBA SPs, two of which were also just given to me. It's crazy how many people just give shit away. I even got a PS3 and a dozen games for free a couple years back. Come to think of it, I think the only retro console I actually spent money on is the Wii. There's a shop nearby that's selling a Game Boy for $80, and I was thinking about going up there this weekend and grabbing it if it's still there, so that'd be number two.

Most of the consoles in this pic are not my originals.

>PC Engine
My original import that I picked up from Game Gallery back in the late 90s.

>NES
My original NES has long been retired. I did recap it and it still works but I didn't want to mod it. Got a AV Famicom that I recapped and installed a RGB mod in and used that forever. Replaced that super recently with a Lave FC which uses original CPUs and PPUs but everything else is new and already has a RGB mod in it. Best sound NES i've ever heard.

>SNES
Original SNES got recapped and retired. Got this 1 Chip Famicom back before I even knew what 1chip meant, also got from Game Gallery but in the mid 2000s, CIB dirt cheap. Its been recapped and has a SNESRGB chip in it

>N64
Still using my original N64 I got for Christmas back in 96. It's been recapped and has a N64 RGB chip in it. I do have a Ice Blue N64 I got recently that i'm going to board swap with a NS1 N64 (already bought one with a busted shell) that will also be recapped and a RGBN64 board installed, then ill retire my childhood N64

>>12136884
>Gamecube
My original childhood console I got for Christmas 02, original caps but does have a GC Loader alone with official component cables. No plans to replace it

>Sega Genesis
Have my childhood "High Definition Graphics" Genesis that was a hand me down from my sister, it's been recapped and retired. Same for my Model 1 Sega CD. Got this Megadrive 2 off ebay 10ish years ago. Recapped and has a triple bypass in it.

>Saturn
My childhood Saturn I bought by working my first real job, Model 1, black, recapped but retired years ago. Got this Model 2 Saturn off ebay uhh 5 ish years ago maybe? I recapped it and installed a Fenir ODE.

>Dreamcast
My childhood Dreamcast, first console I bought at lunch with my own money. Factory caps has a MODE in it.

>Xbox
My original Xbox is MIA, pretty sure I left in an old apartment I trashed. Really regret that since I have a ton of Halo 1 split screen memories on. Got this Halo Xbox 15ish years ago with a complete steel battalion setup. It's been recapped and has a SSD in it with CW

>PS1
My original PS1, got it for Christmas 95. It's been recapped and has a X Station in it. Kinda wish I got another PS1 to install the X Station into but it is what it is.

>PS2
My original PS2 Phat died and I'm not sure what happened to it. My current PS2 is a SCPH-500xx that I bought new in box in 2010ish maybe 2011. Original caps, got a soft mode and a sata adapter hot slot in it.

>Dreamcast
>GBA
I got my Dreamcast from a girlfriend of mine, and the GBA was the first console I bought with my own money.
I had more but I learnt this jewish trick; Buy low and sell high, that's been my approach. I played "for free" (technically getting paid and making a profit) and have been doing it forever. Still, I held onto my Dreamcast and Game Boy Advance because of the personal significance they hold for me. Nowadays, I just emulate everything, only a idiotic goy would spend a fortune on a worn-out copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga or a vandalized copy of Art of Fighting for the AES by Dion. The goyest goy is about to spend 200 bucks on a mister in the name of "fidelity." Most of you are beyond saving. Most of you lack soul. Most of you should stop wasting resources and die childless.

forgot to say i got them all locally on facebook, through game shops, and via ebay. i had some of this stuff years ago but sold it all, and got back into retro around 2018, right before it exploded in popularity. i remember going to the shop and getting almost any gameboy game for $3-$30 (only higher end stuff like pokemon) and then one day even tetris was being sold for $15-20. i guess i'm one of the assholes that caused the prices to bubble. i only have a handful of physical xbox and gameboy games now, mostly i play with flash carts, cd-rs and usb loaders. oh yeah i also have a saturn with a fenrir.

A good 30, got half while growing up and the rest in the last 10 years. I've got all the Nintendos except a Virtual Boy, all the Segas but an Sg1000 and a Nomad, all the Playstations but a 5, an Xbox and 360, an Intellivision 2, a CoreGrafx 2, a 2600, a Jaguar, a 3DO, a Neo Geo CD, a Neo Geo Pocket Color, a Wonderswan, and my favorite as of late a Panasonic A1wx MSX2+. I've recapped almost everything, RGB modded everything that needs it, and everything has a Flashcart or an ODE. I've done a few case mods too.

My Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, PSP, GBA, GBC, N64, PS1, most of my games though I kept a lot of my gamecube games because I played them on my Wii.

I still regret this so much to this day, at the time I didn't give a fuck I just wanted some extra cash, most of the games I made just a few bucks each for, nothing was really worth anything back in 2011.

The only """retro""" consoles I still have are my Wii, 360 and PS3 if you can even consider them that anymore.
