Production catch up
The biggest production step at the moment is the redesign of the main board. We’re a week away from the final version which will generate a dozen or so test boards manufactured for the team to put through its paces.
Every new feature of the board is expected to work first time around, but we need to be sure no bugs slip into production. This means a lot of smoke tests performed, games played, obscure demos run, expansion boards plugged, monitors, TVs and oscilloscopes getting attached to the boards to ensure it all works as expected under every condition.
Once we are happy with the board’s performance, it’s greenlit for production."
