You know, people just don't give this game a fair shake.

Batman Forever released 1995 to tie-in with the movie of the same name. Published by Acclaim, developed by Probe. The game is apparently built from probes version of the Mortal Kombat engine that they ported to the Genesis/MD/Sega CD/32X/GG&SMS . The game has hybrid MK fighter and an action adventure platformer. uses digitized sprites and CG backdrops. I rented the SNES version as a kid, and I did not like it at all.

based SNES enjoyed. I remember Nintendo Power ranking this one highly, and calling it great. They were really touchy over the fact that the SNES game has loading.

Unironically, I loved this game. But the fucking clown give me nightmares. Maybe my first "survival horror" experience.

Again like I said with MK Mythologies, I gave this game a fair shake in 1995 or whatever and I couldn’t figure out how to beat the first level. The grappling hook kills it, but I would say even after you get used to it, the gameplay is just way too monotonous, you kick people, they fall down, they get back up, you kick them again. The versus fighting thing is better than the actual game and even still I would rather play mortal kombat
