A game focused exclusively on combat meat grinder would be repetitive and generic.

I did a playthrough earlier this year and it was pretty fun. Still need to replay it on Hard and Extreme, buy all of Octavianus' room decorations, survival mode, do one of each Salvo etc

You give Antony and Cleopatra a victory whenever you call him "Octavianus."

NTA but I did clear it on hard at the time (on an actual ps2, hooked to a projector at my workplace), no screenshots so you'll have to trust me, bro.

Ohh, I can't remember how hard the last boss exactly was. I know you fight the dude with the knife fists then Augustus immediately afterwards which sucked though.

I did replay that part a few times from the main menu to try and get some of the exclusive Salvo you can only get in fighting Augustus, and I still think I'm missing some.

It has the only "achievements" I've ever enjoyed, I still remember "Don't kick the elephant" and "The old switcheroo".
