All Fallout games are garbage, but not due to their writing, narratives or world. They are just all shit games, and those that love them do so because they grew up playing them or got hooked by the series as a kid and explored backwards.

I've only watched his video on plagiarism. I think it's pretty comfy and I've re-watched it like 3 times already, though his politics do leak in quite a bit. Anyway, the thing I liked most about Fallout 3 is being able to loot fucking everything including useless junk like tin cans from every location. It satisfied my aspie brain greatly and I would spend hours just scouring a location for every little thing. The story feels a little eh, but it does have its memorable characters and moments. I still love Fawkes to this day.

Fallout 3 is great.
The only RPG is finished twice.
First time on a very old laptop and it ran like 14fps, it was great

Say what you want about Fallout 3 but it was innovative and was something new at the time, it deserves credit for how it transformed Fallout from an isometric top down rpg to a fully realised open world with good atmosphere, then it added those radios and VATS shooting elements which i like.

Without 3, New Vegas is not even possible, Obsidian are a leech developer, they leech from other devs to make their games and then the retards on the internet give them all the credit for some reason while forgetting about actual programming and game design work that went into the engine.
Look at them when they make a game from scratch they fail and become a laughingstock of the industry.
