I like it, the setting is novel. geneforge is better though

Play the first trilogy (Escape from the Pit, Crystal Souls and Ruined World), then Geneforge 1 (Mutagen) and 2 (Infestation)

Crystal souls is pretty ludo. 3 final areas and one boss fight in hell against an open mage that's just about impossible to beat without invincibility positions. That fight was memorable.

Yeah, I was blown away by how trash it was. My expectations were moderately above average, since he always goes on about being very... economical with his design, balancing making what he wants with making money, but man. Everything from the stylistic design to mechanical choices to writing is pure ass.
