The best gameplay/story integration I've seen is "Cabin by the Lake," A.K.A. Porn Groundhog's Day.

Just the idea that you can make certain decisions retcon the past, unlocking new options while locking down others for future loops, is extremely novel.

Black Souls threads are currently dead. No shit nobody talks about the gameplay. The threads in their heyday absolutely did though, lvl 1 runs are a lot of fun.

The Blacksouls thread is mostly dead since there hasn't been anything new to talk about in quite some time but for SEQUEL this is largely untrue. Obviously there's a decent amount of discussion about the porn because duh, but the primary discussion that goes on in that thread is regarding the story and lore of the series, with gameplay not too far behind. This is especially true right now since everyone is currently playing the newly translated Era of Myth games, which are 100% non-pornographic.

This is game is the type of ero game you’d unironically want to play for the story. The characters are likeable and well written. The story can best be described as an emotional rollercoaster once it starts taking off a couple of hours into the game. I didn’t have high expectations when I bought the game, but I ended up really liking it. Definitely recommend.

You have to overlook some unbelievably retarded nonsense. Remember that part where there was a traitor, and they already checked for brainwashing and found that no one was brainwashed so they must have been a real, willing traitor. And in the end in it turned out that the traitor was brainwashed in a different way they didn't check for
