Why is this board le JRPG? To water it down and make it kosher? I can almost tolerate the division of /v/ into pieces so it's not as effective as a whole.. almost.. But there's a nice little white pill in this that expresses, all the cointl shit they're doing, we are still a good, good problem. row row etc

I'm too lazy to count but I'm pretty sure there are more WRPG threads than JRPG threads up right now. Also I don't see what the problem with JRPGs threads are. WRPG fags have no problem making multiple threads for Fallout, VTMB, or Elder Scrolls, but it's a problem when JRPG players have single threads for their games? No one is forcing you to read and post in JRPG threads.
At some point there used to be like a dozen different Morrowind threads up on this board because WRPG fags don't know how to use the catalog or search and just make a new thread for whatever stupid question they have that could be answered with a single Google search. It's actually frustrating because I like both JRPGs and WRPGs and it would be convenient if there was one thread for the discussion of Fallout or Morrowind and I didn't have to look through all of them to find which thread is the most active or relevant to what I want to post. JRPG fans actually know how to use an imageboard so the threads they make don't have this problem. Which makes sense, since imageboards are rooted in Japanese internet culture, and it's retarded to come to an imageboard that was originally made to discuss Japanese culture then complain that people are discussing Japanese role-playing video games.

because WRPGs are played by autistic schizos who spend every waking hour spamming threads instead of playing an discussing games

I counted. If the thread was explicitly about JRPG games, series, tropes, or developers then it was marked J. If it was explicitly about western games, series, tropes, or developers it was marked W. Threads that were off-topic or not explicitly about either were ignored.
My methodology wasn't perfect but even then there's nearly double the amount of WRPG threads than JRPG threads (78 to 44), so much so that even with whatever mistakes I may have made there is a clear majority of WRPG threads on this board.
If you are on /vrpg/ and you are a WRPG fan complaining that there are too many JRPG threads, you are a retarded nigger and should neck yourself pronto.

This entire board was created because of one mod getting mad about persona 4 discussion on a video game board. You are barking up the wrong tree hombre.
