The pain of pirated games...
I have this weird thing: when I play a game that I really like (for example, needy girl overlord), for some reason it is very difficult (unpleasant) for me to play the game, realizing that it is pirated, and now I understand that it is better for me not to play games that I have not officially downloaded from steam. It is also difficult to play a game from an old device, realizing that (conditionally) in a month, I may get a new computer. And only now I felt pain from the fact that on my old laptop not only did I already get 5-6 endings, but also on a pirated version. This is a very unpleasant feeling.

Right now, I will stop playing the game (I will not delete it just in case), and later I will replay it on a new device, but nevertheless the sensations will not be the same as the first time. (F)

Just sharing my weirdness.

Do you have something similar?

I have never felt a moral obligation to buy video games. As a autistic schizo I feel entitled to all media for free as compensation for my disabilities

There's no more demos. People 'abuse' the steam refund system instead which I find more unethical than pirating a game that someone will play for an hour or two tops and never touch again anyway.

If there were demos for RPGs that showcased towns and lategame combat to highlight what the potential is then sure. But instead we have no or bad demos. And no or bad gameplay or instructional videos.

So no, I'm not paying any dollar value to gamble on a game that likely wont do anything new or better than an RPG from 20+ years ago and I'd end up playing for 30 minutes and never touch again.

You pirate because you feel like you are given sub-adequate service. I pirate because I deserve free things. We are not the same

I have nothing against piracy of games, I just find it more convenient to pay.

Very much. And I can say that you are lucky that you are not like me.

It's actually just convenience. I give zero fucks. If I could walk into you losers' houses and take shit from your fridge I wouldn't feel a thing morally. If I can click and download a proper demo like the days before you zoomies were alive I won't bother downloading, installing, and sitting through boring ass tutorials. As it is, buying any modern game is like coming here, 90% fucking trash and the occasional chuckle

If I can download it, it's at best as easy to pay

This has nothing to do with RPGs.

As a thirdy i donโ€™t feel that stigma at all. I pity you firsties, you probably even wait for the light to turn green before crossing, even if the streetโ€™s empty.

you are just getting old or try to be moral fag as most of your gen that will start a witch hunt when someone gets something free because they want to feel entitled to something due to them not owning shit.
Played lot of games original and pirated, never cared about shit, and never will care about that shit since in the end is the same game no matter what.
Currently playing snes games and arcade games on emu, still feel amazed for it.
