>exclusively self-insert in RPGs
>make character that looks like me and has similar skills to me
>act in game exactly how I would act
>always play blind, if I die it means I'm a failure that wouldn't survive in the game's universe
>only deaths that I "allow" are in the early game, caused by me not understanding game mechanics yet, since these would have been prevented irl
>cannot play any other way

Am I autistic? And if I die and reload, it feels like i am cheating.

I'm guilty of that too lately. I've been trying to beat games without losing whatsoever on my first playthrough, and autistically think I wouldn't have won in reality if I have to reload (ignoring all the other impossible video game stuff that makes this stupid).

You don't reload, but rather restart the playthrough after a certain point? You aren't autistic, you are a liar, good sir.

Isekaiing yourself into the game is pretty normal I think, especially with RPGs that are more CYOA focused. Though probably not everyone use as strict self-imposed rules so respect to you for that.

I want to go back in time when we didn't pretend doing the bare minimum, most unimaginative and bland takes on video games isn't some kind of statement about how "based" you are.

How would that work? Do you just avoid combat altogether or rely on followers? Most RPGs have you rise to the apex in terms of skill. And powerful people wouldn't just follow any random idiot and do their bidding.

Bitches on this board can't even make a goddamn omelet and they think they're making a character resemble themselves in a fucking power fantasy where swords and magic are blasting hundreds of mooks in the tutorial... I have yet to see an RPG that allows you to invest a skill point in McDonald's fry cook and shelf stocking. Let alone a -2 intelligence and constitution from being a pothead dropout without even a fucking GED.

Maybe. But I play RPGs exactly the same way with the exception that I like to roleplay a character similar to mine, instead of self-inserting. But I also believe that you should play RPGs completely blind without a wiki and without reloading. You literally only have one chance to properly play the game and be able to enjoy it to its full extent.

The entire concept of "based" is a quintessentially Zoomer phenomenon. Blurting out whatever stream of consciousness hot take happened to be passing through one's feral mind used to be the subject of vicious ridicule, and rightly so. I would hazard to guess it's because Zoomers have never been socialized in an environment where they couldn't just block / mute whoever was speaking to them, so they began to develop hyper-narcissistic mechanisms to cope with their unnatural and extreme social isolation. The Boomers developed similarly but in their case it was due to the absolutely insane privilege and luxury they were raised in, instilling within them a profound sense of entitlement that then warped their perceptions of normalcy. They did have socialization, but it was offset by the absolutely unique historical context of their socio-economic privilege.

Zoomers don't even have the benefit of PTSD from a foreign war as an excuse for social isolation, nor as the catalyst for developing any self-awareness. It simply cannot be a surprise that they are displaying literally all of the most profoundly odious, obnoxious, poisonous and insidious failings of the Boomers.

Zoomers didn't invent the word or its usage. Or being performative. You're an idiot and a pseudo intellectual.

They are suffering complete aphantasia due to sticking their face to a screen 24/7, with fried dopamine receptors, so they cannot ever imagine being anything but a basic bitch human male fighter dude (closed helmet for extra self-insertion). But they are still absolutely self-obsessed, narcistic, so they have to jerk themselves off over how awesome they are for playing as themselves.

Yes they did. Just because you had to google a dictionary to find out what some of those words mean doesn't mean it's pseudo-intellectual, it just means you're an American so of course you are functionally illiterate.

Back in my day, shut-in loser dorks fantasized about being nerdy wizards with wizard powers. So I guess the asocially-acquired aphantasia does ring true.

That's what made him fun. Bullying him is part of his appeal. It's still more entertaining than Minsc's reddit dialogue. The main appeal for Anomen is bringing along different characters to bully him.

It was literally a decade before I realized that people actually unironically thought Minsc was fun. It killed my enjoyment of the game. Before then, I believed Minsc existed for the same reason Lilarcor did: to viciously mock and ridicule *THAT* guy who all tabletop gamers instantly recognize.

They did not, I don't even know how you could think they did. You're not a pseud because of the words you used, you're a pseud because you have no idea what you're talking about but speak as if you were an authority or as if the contents of your post were well thought out.

People thought Minsc was fun because they were twelve when they played BG. Same with people thinking Sonic is cool.

There's nothing wrong with the characters, it's just that games are aimed at children, not autists on the internet.
