I'm guilty of that too lately. I've been trying to beat games without losing whatsoever on my first playthrough, and autistically think I wouldn't have won in reality if I have to reload (ignoring all the other impossible video game stuff that makes this stupid).

Isekaiing yourself into the game is pretty normal I think, especially with RPGs that are more CYOA focused. Though probably not everyone use as strict self-imposed rules so respect to you for that.

How would that work? Do you just avoid combat altogether or rely on followers? Most RPGs have you rise to the apex in terms of skill. And powerful people wouldn't just follow any random idiot and do their bidding.

Maybe. But I play RPGs exactly the same way with the exception that I like to roleplay a character similar to mine, instead of self-inserting. But I also believe that you should play RPGs completely blind without a wiki and without reloading. You literally only have one chance to properly play the game and be able to enjoy it to its full extent.

The entire concept of "based" is a quintessentially Zoomer phenomenon. Blurting out whatever stream of consciousness hot take happened to be passing through one's feral mind used to be the subject of vicious ridicule, and rightly so.
