Okay, OP, I'll bite.
>Schwan-se Huanse (second top left)
doesn't strike me as big but might be le comfortable and wholesome or not (the cap man seems to have a red nose, but why).
Solasta 1 party banter system had once borne a green half-orc fighter complaining about goblins as "those green little devils" so the sequel has potential if it improves on that.
>Dark Heresy
has an Eldar man companion so all depends on how cool he is.
>Soon-Hyooun- Wan Schoon (2nd left in the 2nd line from the bottom)
has no potential. Dude looks like he ran away from some cheap power fantasy mahwhawha.
>Vampire the Lol: Lmao even 2 and Goth the Retarded
are ohnonononono tier.
>Digimon
has a cute girl!
>Clockwork?
If it's the game I saw on Steam once, the one with a trailer, then no? The trailer was strange. I remember now, it had disgruntled factory workers going on a protest and many of them looked like they were World of Whorecraft heroes decked out in rare-drop top level gear. That's not a factory worker attire.
>Firekeeper
reads as Firekeeper with 4chan party had on the image. Is that a Soulslike.
>Threads of Time
Maybe? The hero looks so-so but heroine is cute!
>Fellowship
Looks Warcraftian.
>Permafrost
Looks like le survival simulator based on the picture and the dog will be cold in that weather.
>the Expanse
The sci-fi looking RPG.
>Archeage
Maybe?
>Blob of Downstalker
I wanted to commend dude's emo haircut but I realize that he has what looks like boring short haircut. And a glowing eye? The game is repeatedly shooting itself in the foot.
>Streets of Rogue 2
I think I've played the tutorial of 1 a bit.
>Drakantos
Cute chibis.
>Hawthorn
The mouse.
>M where air meets
Either a game or a garden cultivator lator. Maybe both, I don't judge, but the best gator story I've read was made by Korean and even then he fucked up at the end (the hero at the end steps on all the rakes other promising cultivators before him did but survives and becomes OP because his master succs him?)

Outer Worlds 2 has the biggest chance and it's not even on the list. After that it's Clockwork Revolution. The rest is too niche.

Dark Heresy obviously, 40k is huge and the studio has three successful games under its belt already. Time Stranger will also be fairly successful, lots of Digimon fans and it doesn't look to be complete shit. Gothic remake will sell to people with lots of Zs and Ws in their names.

lol you're delusional. Rogue Trader wasn't a massive hit and not a normalfag game. It and Expanse will also be massive bugfests that will keep people away for at least a year.
Digimon is whatever, it appeals to japs and wierdos that want to play a JRPG for children.

But let's pretend for a second that Outer Worlds actually did sell five million copies and that you didn't just see marketing bullshit about five million *players* counting Gamepass subscribers and interpret that as people actually buying the game. Even if five million people had bought the Outer Worlds...it had no cultural impact. Discussion of the game stopped almost immediately after release. If five million people bought it they were so embarrassed that they never mentioned it again. Are those people going to buy its sequel?

You can literally just google the 5 million copies sold number for Outer Worlds or stay in denial. Not my problem if you willingly want to be delusional. I don't like CoD or sports games but they sell better than any of yours or mine preferred RPGs. You plugging your ears for that too?

>.it had no cultural impact
So now we're moving goalposts to something your irrational close-minded mind think you can use to "win" the argument and is solely based on your own say-so. You're sure making me want to waste time on someone openly irrational and juvenile with that move.

The point was which RPG was most likely to be big and sell well. Out of the games in OP and Outer Worlds, it's Outer Worlds, which is backed by sales numbers too. Get over it, you big baby.
Anonymous No.3852793 >>3856186
>>3852715
5 million really isn't anything, it's probably more that they are profitable to make these kinds of games because they aren't very well made and aren't tied to any greater IP.

The reality is that not one of these games is going to leave any mark.
Anonymous No.3852795

I didn't take it that way, usually "the next big thing" is more about fad than profitability. This is a common English phrase, so you might be confused if you're not familiar with it. The obvious answer is that none of them will be "the next big RPG" in the vein of BG3 or Skyrim or whatever people usually think of.

Dark Heresy will be the usual Owlcat
Popular on this website, niche enough to not be mainstream but still sell decently well

Bloodlines 2 is likely to be the biggest catastrophe gaming has seen since Dustborn
Could positively surprise us though

Wayward realms will be niche jank kino

Dawnwalker will sell really well, definetly mainstream. Not bg3 or w3 tier, I give it a kingdom come deliverance level.

The expanse seems Owlcat biting more than they can chew, it has me worried but it *looks* good so maybe it will be popular

Don't have any particular opinion on the rest
Gothic will be a subpar remake and Solasta 2 will remain a niche title I guess.

Avowed is pretty fucking good mechanically speaking.
If it had a setting that wasn't quirk chungus reddit it could have really competed with BG3.

Reddit garbage extends past just pride flag diversity shit, it actively works against itself.

For example, they had a very compelling and slightly creepy society relying upon necromantic slavery in the second act. This could have been explored deeply but it's brushed off for more GirlBoss character time and her woes and Unknowable GirlBoss deity time, reduced to merely a backdrop.

There is no drama, there's diversity and reddit.
There is no horror, there's diversity and reddit.
There is no higher philosophy, there's diversity and reddit.

This is why Avowed cannot and never will be LOTR, or a fifth as compelling.
I believe the same extends to Outer Worlds, even worse because sci-fi gives more opportunity for earth memes to hang around, and 4th wall breaking shit.

On the other hand, we have Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon which plays it straight, is metal and compelling as fuck, but less budget, so far. I think..hope..we will continue to be pleasantly surprised from the non-reddit camp there.

Nah he's right about WH40K.
It did better with owlcat's niche because less wokeslop but there is still Owlcat niche ceiling. Normies can't handle CRPG complexity a lot of the time so it just doesn't pick up the momentum and therefore giant normie audience of shallow shit like Mass Effect 3.

Then there is production level, BG3 did as well as it did because it has attention grabbing acting for normies and some tactical crpg depth for the rest of us.
Go play BG3 with some normies sometimes and find out exactly how much they want to interact with the build system which will be: play lae'zel as a fighter and hit things. You're lucky if they do battlemaster over champion.

There is a reason RPGs are continually dumbed down for console audiences.

This is literally involved in the main questline and many side quests in that zone. It was just one of many ways in which they used science and animancy in controversial ways. Meanwhile you claim it's some girlboss thing when that is a tiny speck of what goes on in that zone and main questline.
You probably saw the scene where a woman dared to argue with a man and that triggered you instantly with "oh no, this is woooooke girlboss!!!" and that was on your mind for the rest of the time even when killing nature elementals, undead and going through ancient ruins.
