Is this game good? What am I in for? I saw that the deluxe edition of the game is on sale for $12 on PlayStation.

I still seethe all these years later, and I want whoever was in charge of it to suffer. If it's cheap though, and you have no frame of reference for the rest of the series, you could play and even enjoy it. I GUESS.

It's an ok visual novel where you choose your waifu. The walking around stuff and combat sections isn't very deep.

NTA but its a close tie between 2 and 3 for me, 2 is building off the cast of 1's cast while 3 is with a whole new set of girls in paris. 1st games are TL'd so there's also that. Really the 1st 4 are fine games even if 4 is rushed as hell since SEGA was abandoning the dreamcast at the time iirc, which is a shame as it was probably going to be what 2 was to 1 and give Paris girls more time to grow along with more interaction with the tokyo girls.

5 is alright, kind feel the same with 5 as i do with this newest one minus the bs at the end the newest one added in regards to the old cast

1-4 are just a very enjoyable experience while the games after feel more like they're just trying to recapture that experience and they never quite nail it.

Gotta have that sequel stinger that never happens which just ruins both in a sense unless you disassociate the new one with the old series, which given its dead is probably the way to go.

Should have just played it like 1 and 5, where the story is wrapped up and self contained, if it does well, then you can just go back and build on it if its a continuation
