nta and I highly disagree, I'd argue that some 80s aesthetics are timeless but I'd also say that they might not be and things are so bad and dystopian right now that I think a lot of people think its aesthetic or timeless due to nostalgia or just the whole idea that the 80s were a happier, simpler time. If we weren't living in a hellscape and culture didn't start to degrade, I would be willing to bet a lot of people would see it as outdated.
