Havent seen a single black pop in any gameplay yet, what is this racism coming from ubisoft, romans were black
will it be 6 years of dlc to fix it slop
Who greenlit that interface?
Yeah, let me get grey, minimalistic, 0 details and round shapes everywhere for a game set in the roman empire.
Destiny and it's consequences strike again.
>land combat confirmed
Back to the roots bros, we're back
>NOOO YOU CANT MAKE AN EASY TO USE MINIMALISTIC UI FOR A GAME, I NEED MY STYLIZED CONVOLUTED SHIT OTHERWISE IT LACKS ~SOVL~
>>2041784relax, they will be the high tier pops and the emperor just like in 1800
I swear to fucking Jupiter if they force the game to use uplay again I'm gonna fucking kill every frenchman on earth
that reminds me they never cracked all the dlcs for 1800, only up to second year pass, real shame
After watching some gameplay videos I can say they fucked up the setting.
Romans weren't good ship or distant colony builders.
The setting would make more sense if it focused on the first original colonizers - the Ancient Greeks.
We getting fucking land combat again
It's been fifteen years since Anno had land combat
>>2041862Maybe Germs have more of an affinity toward their ancestral nemesis the Romans than they do the Greekoids
>>2041797no it will be perfect on day 1 like anno 1800, but will get a bunch of min-max dlc for autists like (You)
>>2041862really nigga? the romans built cities around the river Euphrates and youre telling me the greeks would have been a better option huhhhh
>>2041876Yes.
Ancient Greeks colonized Mediterranean with ships.
Romans conquered through land and avoided ships as much as possible.
>>2041877in real life sure but have you noticed anno worlds are all a bunch of archipalegos? the game insist upon itself really i dare say, its pure german autism its all about chains of productions
>>2041750>KeralisDidn't this guy do minecraft videos
>>2041879her feminine cock must be YUMMY
>disable pirates
>disable other AI
>enjoy the comfy sandbox
best way to play
Deities look good, the proximity bonus/malus from industries is good. Land combat is back? That's cool. Dunno, looks solid, but idk how much variety 119 has. Guess it depends how many foreign lands they add. Arabia and China would be nice for a start.
>>2041879cute french girl.

>>2041741 (OP)At last, I can finally replace Kalypso's Imperium Romanum.
>>2041741 (OP)The UI looks like shit, same old ubisoft. Also the dev said on steam that they will be releasing as early access which is bad news. Game honestly looks like an anno 1800 reskin. I'm disappointed. I say this as someone who owns every anno and all the 1800 dlc.
>>2041907This is awful. Look at the AI generated background as well
>>2041822The UI matters. You spend half the your game play looking at it. All the UI before anno 1800 was better.
>>2041907>Depending on your actions throughout the game, Rivals have "Reasons" to accept or decline those treaty requestsAccept +100 Reason: Craves BRC
>>2041862Ships were very ancient and nothing like the the 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th century that the series has captured. There was no sophisticated sailing. Warfare on ships was mostly just about ramming and boarding. I can see them seriously fucking up the history in this game.
>>2041995>AI generatedIt's not AI generated just because you don't like it, jeet.
>>2042011It looks like shit and yes AI could generate that generic looking background of a "buzzing" roman market or whatever. Also the UI and character dialogue is dogshit. You can't debate me on this, everyone agrees. Ubisoft is on the verge of going away forever. If they want to save their company they need to change things.
>>2042016>I don't like this, it must be AI!!!>N-No, I don't have any evidence...>THE BACKGROUND LOOKS BAD OKAY IT MUST BE AI!!!!!!!!
>>2042018You are caught up on AI here. It doesn't matter if it's AI or not, it looks bad.
>>2042021>It doesn't matter if it's AI>>2041995>This is awful. Look at the AI generated background as wellSo why'd you bring up AI if it "doesn't matter"?
>>2042022because it looks like Ai slop, what do you expect? Remember the background in crusader kings 2 loading screens? It reminds me of that but really low quality. It's what you do for a loading screen, not a UI.
>>2042024>AIslopDo you only understand buzzwords?
>>2042026Yes and bad art looks like AI slop because AI slop is bad art. Either way, if you let this background autism go, you realize the character models are horrible right?
>>2042004I mean, you're not wrong it is a Chinese woman
they literally travel half the world for some italian salsiccia
>>2042026Are a developer for Anno 117? If so my condolences, you must be nervous about losing your job. Well I'm sorry but the game doesnt look very good.
>>2042030I can tell you are an incel because you have these types of mp4s on your computer. You like these things where they look at the camera and make those tik toker expressions that make you feel like you with them. lol what a loser.
>>2042036>being this triggereduh oh chinkcel is really upset, even wrote a whole paragraph projecting his misanthropic perspective on social media
>>2042042Since when is 2-3 sentences a paragraph? Are you too stupid to read more than than that? I'm not even Chinese and I don't like asian women. I just know that people who post things like that are incels. Fucking loser.
>>2042050stay mad chinkcel
>>2042051What does any of this have to do with anno?
>>2041823Emperor is confirmed white. Saw it in another stream. I'm guessing either auxilliaries or North-Africa DLC will have black pops/units, which is completely fine desu and I don't want to hear any shit from you faggots when that's all the black people they add.
>>2041818Do we really NEED land combat? I remember it was clunky and fucking annoying in 1602. I guess it's not a bad thing to have it and more realistic, but don't expect fuggin Total War style battles. It's gonna be an afterthought with simple mechanics and that's fine.
>>2042065The Emperor in 117 was Trajan and then Hadrian so you would expect them to be white. But not really white, they should look Roman which looks more Mediterranean. Not white like the German emperors that came later.
>>2042071>the German emperors that came laterSuch as?
>>2041862Yeah so what, it's fucking Anno. You settle islands. In ALL Annos. Just imagine it's a bunch of Ionian islands they're settling over some Minoan ruins (there are actually ruins in the game so it would fit).
Also Romans became the best ship builders in the western ancient world after they fucked up the Carthaginians and stole their designs.
>>2042073Like the entirety of the HRE. But even in the later centuries of the Roman empire, there were barbarian emperors but we don't know exactly their origin because Romans didn't think of race like we did do now.
>>2042079>HRE4/10, made me reply.
>>2041907>How do you want to react?"Rape her on the spot"
>>2042071>But not really white, they should look Roman which looks more Mediterranean"white" is a stupid social construct and "med" looking is even more laughable, they are both caucasian with a small difference in paleness
>>2042084It's not a social construct. It's a word used by we Americans to describe ourselves. It's for the white anglo saxon people of British origin.
>>2042065yeah, just like they did with our renowed black academics and female engineers in the 19th century, lmao
>>2042016Just wanted to chime in to let everyone know you're a complete retard. It's not AI generated, it's the same style they used for background art in Anno 1800 by the same fucking artist. It's a German studio, that means you can count on 1) Autistic quality
2) Autistic everything else
3) They probably have the death penalty in Germany for using AI art since technology scares them.
>>2042086it's a video game.
Who cares?
>>2042071I don't think they use historical characters since, get this, it's not a historically accurate game. Anno never fucking is.
But I saw the emperor and he looks like you would expect him to look.
>>2042087Well that German artist needs to do better or be given a different engine or platform because the renders of those models looks really bad. Everything looked better in anno 1800 but still that was years ago. These models look awful. Everything looks like plastic/wax. You can see tons of rough spots in them. The artwork looks very lazy as well as the UI. Game honestly looks like an attempt to quick cashgrab to double dip on their success of 1800. It's anno 1800 with a reskin.
>>2042091Timmies are insecure people may interact with non-white males in games and question how much(99%) of european inventions were stolen from women and non-white people while they took credit for it and play superior race out of it
>>2042092If Hadrian or Trajan are not the emperor, they are retarded. It's literally called anno 117 just like you can assume the emperor in 1404 is one of the emperors at the time, Sigismund or whatever
>>2042093>It's anno 1800 with a reskin.that's a good thing since 1800 was the best anno game ever made
>>2041750looks really good desu
>>2042086Yeah cool goal post shift bro. We're talking about this game, not 1800.
Besides the female engineers in 1800 are a cute. A cute. And the top class was a white old fat cat. Back then in 2018 that was quite brave of them to have a white man be the top dog and you'd think incels here appreciated it more.
>>2042097Anno 1800 is a good game but no it's not a good thing to be sold a new product that is the exact same thing 6 years later.
>>2042085It is lol, its such a stupid concept that you constantly get brown eyed, black haired anglos with clear norman ancestry to be considered white but not an italian or spaniard who looks just like him lmao
>>2042101Being white is about skin color and face, not a blue eyed blonde hair thing.
>>2042103That's being a caucasian, the white term is a dumb anglo invention only for themselves and germs
>>2042100They already tried redesigning the gameplay for a wider audience with the result being 2205 which no one liked. More of the same with some improvements is the better choice.
>>2042093Humor me, show me in-game art you consider good. Any game.
>>2042097This. They literally just took all the good parts of Anno 1800, same engine, same UI, and reskinned it and added more features like diagonal roads, religion and a tech tree.
Its dimes! And the best decision they could have possibly made. Never fix what isn't broken, that's how you end up with bad sequels.
Graphics hold up, in fact they can most likely do a third game in the same engine before it would look outdated.
>>2042106We invented what white is, we started the term white, there is evidence in how people such as Ben Franklin described white people of the time. If you don't like the term, don't use it. You're not American so I don't give a shit.
>>2042107I never played 2205. I'm not asking for a wider audience, I'm asking for something improved. Not the same copy and paste from 1800. Have some god damn creativity. Why do you accept endless slop and being sold the same product over and over?
>>2042108Good artwork? Every anno game before 1800. The Age of Empire series outside of Age of Empires 4. Just look at the artwork and UI of anno 1602 and that's better.
>>2041848buy the base game
angry ubislop devs in this thread
>still doing islands in 2025 even when Rome was famous for its roads>UI is flat black instead of ornate marble>roads are merely diagonal instead of cubic splines like in Farthest Frontier It will be an acceptable game, but it does just seem like a repeat of 1800. Maybe they were afraid to be too experimental after 2205.
>>2042091retard
>>2042110>Just look at the artwork and UI of anno 1602 and that's better.See pic rel, that's the highest res artwork I could find for 1602. It looks great for its time, but dogshit now. I think you're just the wrong kind of old, brother.
>>2042110I don't get why you fighting them? you already agreed with me that is just a social construct, why you keep replying to say the same I already said at the start?
>>2042113you don't have to sign you posts like that
>>2042114Yeah and you should watch the intro cutscene for that game. It's fucking epic and has soul. Anno 1800 has none of that and wishes it could have soul like that. Instead they make fun of Donald Trump and make it anno 1930 in the DLC
>>2041992>>2042093>>2042113>anno 1800 reskinand that's a good thing, 1800 was ludokino
>>2042116It's not a social construct, fuck off Merkel
>>2041741 (OP)Why germs like archipelagos so much? germany has no islands neither does central europe, why can't they move with this and do big land maps instead? this could be the new caesar 3 but not without big land maps
>>2042121Anno 1800 was okay but a lot of slop DLC and problems which is why 1404 is universally considered better
>>2042123Because they don't know how to innovate, just emulate the same thing over and over
>>2042123>germany has no islandsExcuse me, Sylt is megadimes and the best-kept secret in all of central Europe.
>>2042110>I'm asking for something improved8 directional streets. Religion. Mutually exclusive faction upgrade paths. Tech-trees. Land combat.
All of that is hardly "just" a 1800 reskin.
>>2042127wow diagonal streets... its the same grid system only you can rotate it one more direction.... breathtaking...
biggest upgrade over 1800 is the pause button
>>2042123because it's an Anno game, and not a Caesar game?
>>2042135Caesar III looks miles better than this game. This game seems to fail to capture the Roman aesthetic. Especially with that god awful UI.
>>2042130>"Nothing improved">That key mechanic has more options to it now, plus all these other additions >"Doesn't count"
>>2042138If you think placing a road is a key mechanic you are retarded
>>2042135All roman city builders are just a caesar reskin, no exceptions
>>2042141Brb, doing a roadless run now. Should be easy since roads are just optional after all.
>>2041992stop lying on the internet anon, its bad for your health
>We're not planning to release Anno 117: Pax Romana in Early Access. But, we're heavily relying on playtests (since 2023) - and that includes the recent Technical Test and any future beta tests - to make sure we're on the right track and check for topics like balancing, stability, etc. during development.
>>2042148Yeah you have events in Rome to make your playtesters shill hard for you. You only invite youtubers who shill for you to your beta. This screams of civilization VII all over again.

I wonder if they will sell the game on steam on release or hold it back for a few years again. Ubisoft Connect will be mandatory either way through.
>>2042160It will be on Steam, they are not that stupid. They are desperate for a hit seller. I think the company is unironically hanging on by this game.
>>2042159>I've paid hundreds of dollars to your publisher to play anno gamesAnd you will pay hundreds more. The supply doesn't get to make the demands Bob. Make sure to watch us get GOTY in December while seething.
>>2042164I just won't be buying it in the current state

>>2042167>I won't be buying the alpha demo shown to select influencersWell hot damn son, I got some good fucking news for you then.
>>2042135If they wanted to do a game about islands set in antiquity, they should have picked Greece as a setting and not Rome. The islands are a vestige from the classic Anno games (up to 2070) where there was only one map and the game needed a mechanism to force the player to trade between different zones. Ever since 2205, there has been a world map with many local maps and there had been no need for forced islands.
>>2042174Yet the game is releasing early access, something anno has never done before. Seems like you want to sell the current state of the game.
>>2042180>the game is releasing early accessCool claim. Got a source for that?
>>2042157BBC pic or you are a white larper
>>2042186it's just schizo /gsg/ robbie, he has these obsessive made-up assumptions. best is to just ignore poor feller
>>2041862Oh boy, here we go again.
>>2041862What a brainlet take. Hey, dumbass, which geographical feature did their empire encompass? A desert? How do you imagine they got goods from egypt and iberia to italy? Remember when caesar build the first undersea tunnel to britain to invade it for a day?
>>2041862>Romans weren't good ship or distant colony builders.Wat?
Excessive shipbuilding by the romans and the deforestation it caused is the main reason why the Mediterranean ended up so barren.
>>2042237You live in a box, my name is not robbie and I don't hang out in /gsg/. Anno is a popular series. Get some perspective.
>>2041907Well at least they are honest about not including China this time around.
With 1800 it always felt weird how portions of the game were clearly skirting the idea. The titular ship being a class designed for racing to Europe to deliver a new batch of tea, the Qing girl actually looking appropriate for her time and so on.
Meanwhile the girl here just put on her Saturday's gala dress, her name itself has no deeper meaning and the game is steering hard for Albion, which completely erases contact with the Chinese out of the picture.
>>2042186https://steamcommunity.com/app/3274580/discussions/0/553491101355417377/
Of course the game isn't dropping in early access, he's just from a "historically marginalized group" and it wasnt required for him to develop proper reading comprehension skills
>>2042071None of the "german" emperors were actual germans you moron
>>2042261I think people often conflate the early republic having poor seafaring compared to carthage or athens with rome in its empire phase having poor seafaring after they assimilated all the seafaring cultures of the mediterranean.
>>2041741 (OP)closest thing to a settlers remake im going to get the UI looks uninspired but my only expectation is that the combat mechanics are deeper than previous annos
But will it have a campaign/missions or will it just be a sandboxslop like the last one?
>>2042099I advice you stop speaking like a retarded autist.
>>2041907>superiorkek these cucks just can't help themselves

>>2042493autism on display
>>2042494they could have picked germany, france, balkans or egypt and instead they went with fucking england because they had to market to retards
if you defend this you are part of the problem, enjoy your slop
>>2042467Anon, it's just a reference to the fact that silk was the premium fabric as far as Romans were concerned.
Here's the max prices of each from Diocletian edict:
>Combed linen, non-spun, first-class – 24 denarii for about 300 g>Taranto wool, washed – 175 denarii for about 300 g>White unprocessed silk – 12,000 denarii for approximately 300 gJust to throw in some other famously expensive things to compare:
>Pepper – 800 denarii for about 300 g>Saffron from Arabia – 2000 for about 300 gSo yeah, the Romans did assign superior value/quality to silk.
>>2042501Yeah unfortunately Anno 1800 was such a big success and Ubisoft is so desperate that they have to appeal to the anglo saxon market. Hopefully they make Albion so generically Celtic that one can just pretend that is supposed to be Gaul or Upper Germania.
After going through several articles and videos of German publications, I don't see much that could be worrisome for now. Yeah, it is 1800, but with improvements.
Also interesting to note that a couple of news articles specifically mention Winter as the release target.
Ubisoft can't be that retarded to suddenly mess too much with BlueByte now given that it is one of their few profitable studios, but time will tell.
>>2042521>given that it is one of their few profitable studiosThat makes Ubisoft more likely to mess with them. They might want to improve its mass appeal by dumbing it down or release it early to improve a specific financial quarter.
How long will EGS exclusivity be?

>>2042673>WHERE'S FUCKING SLAVERYIt's a glorified/romanticised take on history just like other Anno games.
Your lowest population tier are freemen and the character you interact with is literally introduced as a slave freed recently to become a part of your colony.

>>2042563They've learned from the horrendous 1800 launch. It's almost a miracle how wildly successful critically and especially financially that game became, considering how they fucked up the launch with the gay Ubishit.
Ubisoft itself knows. They will have to sell their company to China to be dismantled if Anno 117 fails. It's their last chance for survival after the Assnigger in japan creed debacle. Of course they will launch on Steam, where else would you do it.
>>2042588People on this cursed island have always been tertiary humans. Hitler should have bombed it harder.

>curated timed beta run where even CCs admit the devs where watching them play
>all positives feedback with the hint of criticism (it's basically same as ANNO 1800 with Rome skin and the ability to place stuff diagonally)

>>2043318>Assassin's Creed Codename HexeAssassin's Creed Codename Hexe is being positioned as a "a very different type of Assassin's Creed game." Details are few and far between, but we do know that it's being created by Assassin's Creed Valhalla developer Ubisoft Montreal and that former Watch Dogs Legion creative director Clint Hocking will be leading production.
The first teaser trailer and game's codename suggest that Assassin's Creed Hexe will be set in 16th-century Europe during the infamous witch trials that engulfed the region. We could be in for a weird, subversive open world RPG here with Codename Hexe, and we're honestly here for a little more experimentation from the Assassin's Creed series.
>Assassin's Creed JadeAssassin's Creed Jade is set to be the first truly open world Assassin's Creed game for mobile. Ubisoft has said that it's trying to build an authentic Assassin's Creed experience, albeit one that is totally optimized for touch controls. Assassin's Creed Jade will be set in China in the year 215 BCE – and, yes, you will be about to parkour across the Great Wall.
Originally revealed as Codename Jade before its official title was confirmed at GamesCom 2023 as simply Assassin's Creed Jade, it will also be the first game in the series to let you create your own assassin from scratch, which is a nice touch. We're expecting to see Jade launch after Shadows, but given Shadows' has been pushed back to March and we've heard very little about Jade since its closed beta, it remains to be seen where it lands in the year.
>Assassin's Creed InvictusUbisoft says that it is "investigating how we will bring back standalone multiplayer experiences into the Assassin's Creed universe." Assassin's Creed multiplayer has been atop wish lists for years now – it's been nine years since the mode featured in AC4: Black Flag and eight since co-op appeared in Assassin's Creed Unity.
>>2042323The conflation is more "poor seafaring" (which isn't true) with "poor naval combat skills" (which is). The Romans were perfectly good sailors, they used the same ships as the Greeks and Carthaginians they just had very little experience in the kind of naval warfare that Carthage excelled at and instead just used boarding tactics that they found more to their liking. Different doctrines produce different results.

The Ubisoft twitch channel has been streaming pure gameplay for the past hour now, played by random Ubisoft community mangers who haven't touched any prior Anno game based on their commentary.
The only odd thing I've spotted so far is the occasional fat black plebian, but the rest looks alright. 1800 gameplay with a couple of additions.
>>2044018All I care about is whether I have to use the dogshit ubisoft connect launcher
>>2043647cletus my son... knower of roman naval warfare
>>2044134You will, but Ubisoft itself may not be long for this world so there's that at least.
What I really worry about isn't the launcher itself, it's that Ubisoft's implosion will result in a bunch of games (like 2070 and 1800) becoming unplayable, single player only, losing items and achievements, etc as a result. Possibly low likelihood, but again Ubisoft is a dying company so nothing is certain.
>>2044185Isn't Tencent moving to devour all of Ubisoft's developers as soon as they go bust?

>>2044189No, the idea is that all of the "profitable" AAA IPs are going to be jettisoned to a new company that won't have any debt, while everyone else is left holding the bag back at "Ubisoft" (which will be a shell of its former self and only exist to go bankrupt).
Whether Anno is among those 'profitable' IPs is questionable. We like it, sure, but investors may not give a shit and just sell it to EA or something.
>>2044319The new company they spun off is the one that Tencent owns 25% of
>>2044322That doesn't make it entirely Tencent's company or Tencent's idea, this is just a way for certain investors to walk away from Ubisoft's debt while everyone else is told to fuck off and die.
>>2044311Sure. For steam to be taken seriously with its promises gabe either has to remove the launcher himself if ubishit just drops it or there needs to be some repurcussions for breach of contract which valve's lawyers certainly already have.
100% the poles already have a plan to rip it out too.

>>2044441I don't understand this comment. It doesn't look beautiful to me. It looks like generic slop. It looks like anno 1800 re-skin. Anno 1800 is a beautiful game but this is the ancient period and I expected it to look different. Honestly I think that Caesar 3 looks better than this game in terms of art style.
I can't wait to ENSLAVE these albion barbarians for my SLAVE empire which mostly worked on SLAVE labour and SLAVE trade and I can't wait to see all of this SLAVERY represented in-game in both the economics of SLAVERY and it's applications in a SLAVERY-based society.
>>2044675Nah krauts did it too

>>2041806it's literal slop. Because all the other relevant strategy games use it too. Horrible, disgusting, soulless.

>>2042588look what happened to the peoples of the isles when the Romans brought "civilisation" to them. The Celts are gone. Britain happened.
>>2044510It's because they are going hard on the gritty realistic rout instead of the general cartoony style of previous anno games.
>>2045009This, but also 1800 was mostly from a time where all buildings were grey feom concrete and cement, which is why it looks better with more colour, looks a lot like the latino new world buildings really which I thought the prettiest set in 1800
>>20450891800 looks good because as stated in a blog post they where inspired by classic adventure/fairytale literature that where published in the time period. It's supposed to look and feel very romantic and idealic, which with annos traditional more stylized look bloomed in to pure art. It's clear with 117 they are throwing that all out the window, which while it looks good from a technical perspective it looks more generic from a art one.

>>2046071indian people don't even play this autistic series, nice try
>>2042086I hope there is a mod to fix this.
So far looking at it, it just looks like 1800 but a straight upgrade with more options. They write that they also want to significantly expand diplomacy.
And with the added bonus that so far I havent seen any sussy "diversity" in the blogs or youtuber footage, but so far there is only stuff up to tier 3.
>>2049240>expand diplomacyshame I disable all AI
I really hope trade with AI is improved. I like soap memes as much as the next guy, but it would be nice if they had something more variable or a way to convince an NPC to buy a specific good.
Like maybe there is a list of goods they start out wanting, but that list of demanded goods expand as you improve relations. For example, prison guy starts out wanting potatoes, soap, etc but as you trade with him he starts demanding machines and processed goods for high returns.
>>2041862>controls Mare Nostrum and sea trade networks>not good ship builders
Do you think they'll ever do a fantasy anno? I keep getting Rise of Legends videos popping up for me on YouTube and I think it would be pretty neat having a few different factions to play as.
>>2051166no because no one would care about some literal who non descript tolkien ripoff
>They changed their dicksword image to that meme again
Right, they are still slaved to Ubisoft after all.
Weirdly enough, I would have preferred they go back to pre-Roman times for an antiquity setting. Something like ancient Pheonecians or how all those Greek colonies were founded.
>>2055840Unfortunately the series is called anno so they can't really take it into the BC.

>>2055840I think it would make more sense. Romans weren't really known for island colonies, with most of what can be called an Anno style colony being built in modern day France. The closest island colony equivalents were in Britain and Sicily. With Greeks and Phoenicians, they did have many small colonies on various islands throughout the Mediterranean, which would translate better to an Anno game.
>>2056709>With Greeks and PhoeniciansHave you even seen where the Roman empire was?
>>2056828Yea, but again, as far as colonization, as in building new cities in previously unexplored places go, it was mostly relegated to the mainland, not necessarily smaller islands. Greeks and Phoenicians were more known for that.

>>2057269I was primarily focusing on the time frame Although yes, >60 million years ago when dinosaurs died out primates weren't around yet.
900BC puts you smack dab in the early iron age. It's a good 200 years after the Late Bronze Age Collapse, the Greek Dark Ages have begun, in 130 years the first Olympic games will be held, in 400 years the romans will depose their last king and 20 ears after that Leonidas will die at Thermopylae facing the Persians under Xerxes.
Caves were mostly used in the Paleolithic, i.e. Old Stone Age, which was a good 3.3 million years ago, the Middle Stone Age(Mesolithic) began around 20000 BC.
>>2057604And of course I forgot this tidbit to contextualize the timeframe even further:
>Anatomically modern humans emerged around 300,000 years ago in Africa, evolving from Homo heidelbergensis or a similar species. So we only showed up pretty late into the Old Stone Age.
>>2057605>Africa>still believing the out of Africa theory2% to 19% of the DNA of West African populations may have come from an unknown archaic hominin which split from the ancestor of humans. It makes no sense for humans to have come from Africa and not have this archaic DNA.
Launches November 13th boys
>>2056861I've thought about this.
Time travel from 22whatever and you need to balance future tech production chains with caveman production chains, and the end result is neanderthals wanting future goods and future men wanting (refined) neanderthal goods.

Mid November release date is also within expectations. Should be a pleasant winter this year.

Looking at the gameplay trailer up on the steam page, it would seem that the irrigation mechanic is actually part of Albion already. Instead of irrigating dry lands, you reclaim dry soil from the swamps.

The amount of people knowledgeable enough to crack denuvo is already small, those willing to go trough the effort to do so is tiny. Then you'd need one of those that cares enough about anno to do so and that's ignoring the possibility that it would have to be recracked after patches.
