The only thing it has going for it is being on a globe instead of a map (which isn't that unique anymore since we have things like Gilded Destiny coming up which also use a globe), and the stylistic way that nuclear war is depicted in the game. Being inspired by a movie instead of other vidya helps, but looks only get you so far. But I've also never played multiplayer in this game; judging by the discussions in this game's Steam forums, most fans of this game mainly use it for autistic UN larps, so maybe I've been playing this game wrong when I tried getting into it.

Do you think people would really enjoy a modern day mod that had less bloat? I've had some ideas for modding Vicky's map to make it more interesting (mainly just increasing province density in places), if there's demand for a modern day mod that's not bloatmaxxed I can try focusing my modifications around that.

With how bloatmaxxed most mods are for this game, I just figured I'm the only one who wanted "slimmer" mods.
