Was it dev hell? Autism? Trannies?

Why can't you make an OP that's not low effort template dogshit? Anyway, ubik went outright schizo and ended up medicated and institutionalized.

I'm sure the economy mechanics are interesting and novel... If they were actually interactive.
Why would I manually assign taxes per province? Instead of just letting the autobuilder do it for me?
Why are buildings built through some arcane decision tree rather than just the regular EU4 buildings mechanic?
It's all so cumbersome...

the most joy I got out of meiou was sacking cities and then using that money to reinvest in my own cities. imperator scratches that inch for me now and I don't have to wait six hours for a year to pass in game

A classic case of let's take a good idea and stretch it to such an extreme that it only appeals to 5 people.

they use arcane mechanics to do shit because EU4 buildings are hard coded garbage and doesn't offer them the flexibility to do what they want

Good ideas but the EU4 engine is too shit and old which makes everything convoluted.

EUIV was never meant to have any more depth than a game of risk and actively fights against any attempts to make it more interesting. It's still the only way to make EU IV worth a playthrough.

Still playing 2.6 like the founding fathers intended and this is the first time I've seen the White Horde completely wipe the Russian principalities.
(They then proceeded to get walked by the Ottoman Empire)

Is 2.6 stable? I tried 3.0 some time ago but it kept crashing after some years

2.6 is still being maintained and bugfixed by a skeleton crew. He's actually been able to get rid of some rather glaring bugs which have greatly improved stability and AI construction

this is all true. At the end of the day it's just eu4 with more building options. Nothing about the game is fundamentally improved.

Then how does Anbennar & Voltaire's nightmare both manage to add their own custom building?

With all the background calculations needed to make it work you need a supercomputer to run it.

You can't control anything in this mod. Just press an "Expand the bureaucracy" button every 5 years and throw money at projects, hoping something happens.

MEIOU buildings need to interact with their labour/commodities/local investment system.
Anonymous No.2137720 [Report] >>2140388
I saw on the discord that there's going to be an MP game with the new burgher update. I've never played Mayo multiplayer, but it sounds like it could actually be fun with the new UI. I don't know the new burghers meta yet, but I'm hoping that this update encourages entrenching burghers to let me fulfill my colonizer larp.

Terrible UI and it runs like dogshit.

It's great that you'd wanna make eu4a bit deeper, but it's mostly just autism with no sense of what is playable.

Prepare to be disappointed. It's pretty much the same as nobles, but urban.

There's also some new mechanic with trade company income, but I haven't looked into the details yet. Regardless, it all sounds interesting and is likely worth another campaign to explore.

>Terrible UI
Have you tried since they've added the new UI? Now you can read all of a province's information within the province window. There's also still the macrobuilder options for interacting with provinces, making the province selection pin stuff a lot less mandatory. Perhaps the most important change is actual mapmode buttons in the GUI to select & configure the most useful mapmodes without needing to spend ages configuring them in the map mode slots in every. single. campaign. All in all, the mod is significantly less AIDS to play nowadays.
