A handful
>Civ 2
This game could be run on a smart fridge and it's still great. I am still playing it on a regular basis and always installed (especially since it takes close to zero space)
>Pharaoh & Emperor
I've got an archaeology degree because I've played those a lot as a teen, and I STILL return to them
>SMAC
Peak Civ experience, always installed, always ready to get one more Gaian victory. Rainy day and nothing to do with myself due to nobody being available? That's SMAC time.
>HoMM3
I'm a Pole, this is effectively a national sport here.
>Settlers 3
I know the Amazons campaign by heart, and it's still fun as fuck. I also like the RNG maps from the anniversary re-release
>Ufo: Aftermath
This is a deeply flawed game, but even with its flaws, it scratches just about every itch I've got for X-Com like (especially since I hate actual X-Com games)
>Empire TW
This game is fucking garbage, the mods aren't really fixing it, and I still have over 10k hours into it. I installed Steam back in the day just to play it online
>Curious Expedition
I consider it a honorary strategy game, since its intense on inventory management and planning your moves to know when and what. The fact that the sequel learned all the worst lessons from the original only adds to how great the original is.
