There is also a bigger problem which that in the online era its a winner takes it all: why would I spend a second being good at holoheaven when I can just train in street fighter 6 and be part of a real scene?
The only people who want "hard" motion imputs is because they had years to master it before the game release it and no longer need to practice it, that way they make sure no one catches up to them if they just started playing fighting games, and that way they kill the game they are trying to gatekeep.

she's quiet interesting, has dust loops and a stance change button thats integral to her combo routes. As far as I can see she might become one of the better characters in the game but execution is gonna filter some people. Her 236L forma icicle is really good for poking and it seems safe on block. Her super is kinda poop though since you can just duck it unlike other beam supers in real fighting games

Why did the devs have to kill the character I love? Those were the last interesting things about her. I almost want to rant about Coco because Idol Showdown feels like the modernization of fighters distilled into a single game over its lifespan.

I feel like they had a sweetspot around 3.0, where she was unique enough to be interesting while still being decent enough. 1.0 Coco was shit tier but honestly, she was still more fun than what she is now. The game was kind of bullshit early on, but they went too far in sanding down the rough edges and now everyone feels too similar to an extent. I just wish devs would sometimes prioritize fun over a specific vision.
