DJMAX actually is pretty Vtuber-friendly, when Airi Kanna was first announced for Ext4 people were skeptical, but she herself came to the livestream and made a show about how she was excited to take part in the game, so players grew to like or at least tolerate her.
Then there's Shabel Tonya, who sang the best songs in Ext5 and Lib2 and everyone loves her and her songs.
Meanwhile Isegye Idol is hated by literally every other fandoms because their fans literally act like Dream stans, and Woowakgood has actually gone on record saying DJMAX is garbage and people should instead play the ripoff game his fans made

There's one thing I forgot to mention that the koreans are still mad about though, it seems like they made or are trying to make Diein into a full-fledged Vtuber, and some suspect that it might be one of Woowakgood's buddies behind the voice due to the songwriter and the chorus singers of the debut song being several of his buddies as well

I donโt know all the deep drama if someone else does that would be great however some basic stuff is that Woowakgood basically went from being a person on Korean 4chan to running his own business so he is an Elon Musk type who doesnโt act like a ceo normally should at all. The six members of Isegye members are talented however itโs clear that the main reason that got in was cause he personally likes them. Isegye also often goes into irl streamer spaces collabs with lots of outsiders and try to do large irl and vtuber crossovers leads to two audiences who donโt like each other mixing.
