It was okay, but fiver has a lot of issues with fake accounts. I like that fiver shows you when the artist was last online. Also if your artist isn’t delivering the website is able to see via your DMs and commission order, and will help you if things go wrong.
Vgen seems to work well because it writes up a contract when you buy it from an artist, but I’ve had issues with artists not delivering my art for months and when I report to the website I didn’t get any response from the website. Artists on Vgen will do the whole model, but typically don’t do rigging. If they do expect 300$ more.
Twitter artists are the most risky, there’s no website protecting you, make sure that your order isn’t sent as friends and family. I’ve gotten two models from one twitter artist, so it’s not completely terrible. It’s just all about finding reputable people.
