Realistically, how hard would it be for vedal to do some integration with undertale/deltarune
I understand the bullet-hell gameplay would have to be another ai, but could vedal so something similar to the osu integration for those battles?
If not, having vedal replay his "childhood" game with neuro might be cute

The only way I can see a subathon happening this year is if he introduces some major intelligence upgrades and new abilities in Q3-Q4, and even that isn't a guarantee the subathon will be actually good, Neuro's upgrades in the second half of 2024 were amazing and the subathon still ended up being mostly shit

There's actually two problems to consider with this when taking into account the true nature of the game.

The first one is obvious and you already outlined it : the controls. On that front, I presume it'd be very difficult to do today but not impossible. We've had Gemini play pokemon recently, it should be possible to have Neuro play Undertale - moving within the exploration part shouldn't be THAT difficult, and perhaps having another OSU segment-like AI for the bullet hell section.

I'd argue the actual difficult part is the second one : Proper emotional reaction.

Undertale is an rpg highly acclaimed for it's story and for good reasons. Anyone tuning in to see Neuro play Undertale would want to see Neuro make proper reactions to the story beats, and the failure to make sure Neuro can react properly will make the whole let's play completely useless. But having "proper emotional reaction" isn't just really an alignment issue as it may first look like, it's actually a memory issue. Vedal will have to ensure Neuro will be able to recall a good amount of the story for the entire duration of the game - throughout different streams. And not just that, He'll have to make sure Neuro can recall the parts of the story that ACTUALLY matters! That means there will have to be a way for Neuro to properly choose different story beats to store in memory - taking into consideration the emotional impact or informational importance - at different level of details.

It's basically the same problem there is for visual novels. While it may seem like it'd be the easiest thing in the world to have Neuro play through a VN, the requirement for proper emotional reaction is simply too high.

And this is why I want reactslop from Neuro, because reaction content is actually the basis for many type of content - including let's plays. And Vedal needs to figure something out here if there's ever a plan to have Neuro play through a story heavy game alone.

Honestly, I'd be more entertained if Neuro acted like how she used to act and made jokes about the emotional moments; calling it cringey, emo, or calling longer-story sequences "boring" (even though they aren't). It would be a nice new perspective to the game that isn't too haterish but also not praise it too much
