I would argue it would be Ellie. It doesn't matter how actually successful Ellie is compared to Vedal (especially since that can be argued too). What's more important comes down is if two of them respect each other, push each other to do something, and being talk to each other mind. At least to me Ellie is at closest to that. They are constantly competitive in terms of what they like. Ellie wanting to impress Vedal and the same the other way around. Vedal was the most honest in his thought process towards Ellie in a live stream. Something like that is rare for Vedal when it happens, so it makes easily to see the both being able to with each other communicate. Ellie also clearly respects Vedal with how she talks about his work and she does sees something in him.
