>>101261588 (OP)>>101271923>What's her dealAm I the only one that found ENReco painful to watch?
It is probably malicious to overanalysize like this, but I will do so anyways. I watched this series after both Gura and Ame graduated, but there was this one moment in the VOD of Ame's first ENReco stream that made me feel like it was the reason she resigned.
When Ame's group first left the spawn area and began to do the starter quest, she finished the quest before most of her group by a large margin. She then had to slowly explain how to do each step to the other members as they failed to craft a pickaxe despite this likely also being her first attempt at doing so.
>>101276592Gura was already half retired due to her pregnancy. If the new corpo management after cover went public mandated that there needs to be more collabs with every member of the EN branch at the same time, it would quickly devolve into most of Gura's streams being event streams like enReco.
If the stars aligned perfectly and they had hired a writer for each character's subplot in enReco, Conceptually I do not see anything wrong with that series. In practice though, it seemed like there were 3 distinct and conflicting groups:
1) Members that were mostly there to roleplay
2) Members that were purely present out of obligation
3) Members who were mostly there to play the game.
I found FanuaMart fun, but was disappointed when Kiarra refused to be publicly executed despite various attempts.
It seems like the company shifted from being 90% gaming 10% larping to 90% larping 10% gaming.
