Liggerman is not angry because their Fish is joining cover.
They asume that she will join cover because what is happening to Kitanya was exactly what happened with Bean, who is now Cicilia Immergrün. Both have been bart of the same friend group called the "Barbies" and had many fun collabs.
But once Cicilia joined Hololive all of her interactions with her previous friends stopped completely. And it stands to reason that it will be the same with Kitanya's new personality if she in fact joins the Hololive roster.

Liggerman is not angry because Kitanya might join Hololive. They are angry that Hololive's practices rob Liggerman of fun collabs and enjoyable content, while making the friends who got left behind depressed. They effectively lose a "friend" after all.

It was funny to see FWMC get that surge in support when it was likely just me, moustache, and maybe 1 or 2 other people in their threads when they'd stream before Holo. There's good and bad that comes with it, finally after 2 years in they've just about hit even footing with their old hours spend on VN, and that was probably the thing I was looking forward to/hoping there'd be more of in Holo. But they do get to do some things that they wanted to do and just like it was for Kiara, it'a an extension of their want to be idols and preform on the stage in front of fans. I just wish it didn't come at the cost of what I liked the most, VN and anime watchalongs.
Their first half a year was a hell of a ride, I'll give them that.
