Forgive me if this is a retarded question, but what is the deal with ASMR packs? I'm relatively new to this hobby but I've always understood that vtubers are essentially their real personalities turned up to 11 or at least a part of it.
Vtubers can put out parasocial comments during streams all they want but it never goes beyond that which means it's up to the viewer to decide if it's more than that.
But intimacy is innate to ASMR whether it's acting or not. Even if you can brush off certain ASMR as platonic like ear cleaning and walking in the park, there are literally ASMRs made by Hololive vtubers where they RP as your wife/GF. What's up with that?

I always suspected Cover had girls try to pick up at least one game that allows them to play with each other across the company, as basically on-the-job training to try to learn and practice in before debuting - apex, minecraft etc. Not like a mandatory thing but a suggestion. Guess it was Apex for Ina. She did play it like.. once I think. And somehow it was hilarious because she was so out of her element in it.
