You don't need to have the desire to want to fuck or be friends.
Companionship doesn't imply that, it can be part of it sure, but it's not exclusively that.
I regularly talk and hang out with people that I know are not friends, who know we're not friends, just people hanging out fucking around occasionally doing silly stuff together.
The parasocial nature of streaming, entertainment in general, goes both ways.
It even exists outside of this. Teachers and students are a parasocial relationship, the students rely on the teachers for learning, the teachers rely on the students for fulfilment (or in some cases, just for their next meal, hopefully not literally), of course there are outliers but that's the minority.
And there's nothing wrong with it either.
As long as a parasocial relationship doesn't become destructive, there's no harm to them.
But expecting anything more out of it, like

It's difficult to judge for sure, because naturally most relationships more developed that have stemmed from streaming and content creation would naturally be kept quiet.
Most people would not go on to their channel and be like "ayo guys JohnYoutube here, I just got together with a fellow chatter", that's just not a realistic scenario in any capacity.
