I agree it's bad optics. Most people watching niji, especially those watching Maria, will have no idea that he used to do those things all the time. He helped popularize the word "huggles" at the time because of all the time he spent cuddling his friends. It's a bad look to anyone that doesn't know. He shouldn't have done it. My point was only that even if he was messing around with Maria, which is unlikely, he still wasn't cheating on anyone, and he'd never been married in the first place.
