tl;dr Luca and Elira were playing some old Minecraft Horror maps, which require using an older version of Minecraft. When Luca went into the MC server admin control panel to downgrade the collab world they were using, he downgraded the NijiEN Minecraft world instead (Management was too cheap/lazy to set up a server themselves, so the livers had to do it, so Luca, Finana, and Selen had admin backend access). The damage was discovered the next morning by Pomu (spawn chunk was completely wiped, server no longer had a world seed, no new chunks could generate, etc).

Yeah it was definitely an accident, but the part that really didn't sit well with people was that he refused to give a public apology. He was working on a mega project and he needed to revert the version to use a mod, but he didn't realize that the different versions had different biome generation, which overwrote the biome the NijiEN village was on, and hence deleted it from existence.

Then they found out that Finana never made backups (it was basically her private server) and couldn't revert the changes.

He spent a good week flattening the new mesa biome and paving over it with grass so people could build again.

That's not what happened. He was collabing with Elira in a modded server and she was having a problem that he needed to troubleshoot by changing the game version of the server. Because he's a retard that can't read, and because Finana's a retard and made him an admin of the EN server, he changed the EN server instead, laughed, and then continued the collab.

It happened on stream, anyone can go verify it.
