I prefer how it used to be when I was growing up. The prevalent idea was that "gender doesn't have to determine your interests. Boys can like dolls and girls can like trucks and that doesn't change anything." And it feels like that mindset is completely gone. To me it's really bizarre that women are saying that interest in video games is part of what makes them nonbinary when there was a huge push to make gaming culturally acceptable for women.
