Sana didn't like the sleazy coombait design and certainly didn't like the fact that it was being forced on her, Ina, and Kronii with Cover not listening to their complaints. I won't claim that Sana was completely wholesome because she went far with some of her jokes during the Ministry collabs but she absolutely did hate being marketed like a sex object. The behind the scenes fights with management started only 2 months after her debut and those long health breaks indicate that her contract was never even renewed.

The mood definitely shifted and their Christmas 2021 collab was the last branch wide collab (when excluding the mandatory ENreco collabs). That was also the last time that Gura would ever join a holiday collab. Don't forget that Myth was consistent with their holiday collabs in 2020 and 2021.

Sana was more willing to walk out the door but the EN model redesign fights were easily the largest behind the scenes fight in the history of Hololive. Shion quit for similar reasons so not having any creative input on their model design was likely a contentious issue for many years.

I would say that major decisions were made in 2022 that are still affecting HoloEN even in 2025. The graduations were the bad results but talents occasionally drop hints that eventually there will be good results.
