Twisty really handed these niggers a get out of jail free card, letting them terminate her for a legit reason all while sweeping the Aster situation under the rug. They had many other legit reasons such as NDA breaches, but all of these were associated with Aster and would carry the implication that they're protecting him (which they are). Now they can just leave Aster in limbo indefinitely, let his contract run out without announcement, and never have to address the situation ever again kek.

Profit might be decreasing but the upkeep for maintaining vtubers is dirt cheap so there's no reason to pull the plug on the first sight of a decline. this is unlike ID and KR where it cost more to maintain the staff to manage those branches than they made so it made sense.
