I would genuinely be so overjoyed. As a matter of fact this has happened to me once in my entire life for my personality and never in my life for my appearance. It's been like 8 years or something and I still remember that one compliment from a girl I was friends with saying she actually liked that I was brooding and introspective, because it made for good conversation to her, even though I at the time talked about not wanting to be that anymore. I cannot relate to the idea of someone genuinely liking something about me that I dislike about myself because all the things I dislike about myself are the things I get negative comments on from others up to and including my family and friends. But I get that men and women struggles aren't comparable like that, so this isn't to dismiss it. It's just incredibly hard for me to relate to.

The staff did a really great job organizing it, and it was a lot of fun. Surprisingly only bumped into two other snackers, but there were so many attendees I'm sure there were more there. I saw at least one Filian cosplayer.
I queued up for an hour to meet Lumi and then when the moment came I was an absolute sperg and did not make the most of the opportunity, these meet-and-greets are very nerve-wracking.

Anyway it's not a bad idea to train them for effect at all. They're engaged in pretty much everything you might do, from keeping your upright while walking to keeping you stable during push ups to lifting... just about anything off the ground. You'd be hard pressed to find some exercise you can do that doesn't also require you to activate your core muscles to avoid your body folding like a flip phone. The thing about genetics is that the shape of the muscles themselves, where they are placed, how big they are, etc as well as your body's fat distribution, meaning whether your abs will be visible at like say 10% bodyfat or 15% bodyfat are kinda rng, but there is definitely benefit in training them.
