I want to start off by streaming handheld games (gameboy-nds) with a pngtuber model before committing to a full setup to see if it's something I feel like I can do long term. if your budget is 800-1k then I'd suggest finding a deal website and setting alerts for laptops. At that price you can definitely grab a 4060 or 5060 laptop which will allow you to stream modern games without issues. As for brands, lenovo or asus are the "higher" quality brands but try reading up on reviews about any potential issues on any other brands but otherwise nowadays laptops are quite solid.
