i love you kiki. i feel like i managerfag too much at times and too little at others (right now). its hard to strike a balance between doing all i can (only talk) to help you and letting other champs help as well. after all despite my best intentions my opinions are still just my own and you benefit from hearing from everyone.

that said this whole argument was bullshit from the start. 8pyon is less active because of ids and inertia, it just slowly became a news/links bread. these exact kind of arguments were meant for that place so we know who is who to an extent and we can argue more effectively. if you want that place to be more active then post there more. namefagging is bad and you're giving that guy too much credit he didn't kill the other bread, nor is the split causing less activity. pretty much everyone has decided to use 4pyon except for champs that use both.
the reason i don't post there instead is because i feel too self conscious both when i post a lot and when i post too little. the effect isn't strong but it was strong enough to slowly make me post here more and there less.

4pyon is not dead at all. there are still dead hours and stuff, but its been worse we're probably on an upswing relatively speaking.

anyway, that was all a nothingburger distraction. what matters is kiki is insecure about her vtubing career, in part because of mamapyon, and herself more generally.

Agreed mostly. 8pyon and late night streams have zero to do with the bread slowing down. Yeah, the bread is slower during that time because burgers are working and yes, collabs have less interactivity so champs might talk less. But that doesn't affect the bread's long term overall health at all. There are a hundred other smaller things that actually do. Some out of kiki's control some not. and it's too complex to have a real disscussion on it. It does suck that one post is all it took to ruin kiki's mental and blame it on 8pyon killing it but all well, that's that. Can't help it now. I think you've been improving a lot personally. you... play it at faster speed. that's very standard since baseline narration is usually on slower side for more clarity. depends on the narrator on how high you can go and still understand, and how information dense the material is that you need to stop and think. the guy in that vid i think plays fine at 3x speed making the entirety less than 2 hours.

I don't think what I said was necessarily bad. kiki took it overly personal when it wasn't meant to be. I wasn't talking about her as a person has changed just how she presents, markets and themes herself now. she is obviously moving in a direction to be more mature, away from the old kiki, even the old kiki of 2024. No more edgy, even though we all like that and think it's funny. No more cute autism noises and moments because kiki is "grown up now", even though we all like that. That's what I'm talking about. The direction. Kiki is right that she is pulling herself in multiple different ways that conflict. And she is right that theming, marketing herself, and presentation are important. I was just saying the direction she is taking it is the wrong one in my opinion. and that a synthesis of old kiki's carefree autism, cute moments, edgyness/jokes should be mixed with new kiki's comfyness, idol energy, and positivity. you can have both. and I think her current direction of trying to reinvent herself to be mature and "grown up" is the wrong one.
