There is probably some truth to that, yeah. Lots of young viewers drifting away and replaced by new young viewers attracted by the clips and memes and what not.

The other thing with Neuro compared to other Vtubers is that she really has an INSANE clip game, like your average Vtuber has some decent clips here and there but Neuro has hours and hours worth of hilarious clips and animations and songs and shit to get caught up on. Which is partly the reason you have so many react-tubers making half the rent money just watching Neuroclips.
Going from that to actually watching livestreams dilutes the magic of the clips a little as you realize she's not actually as funny or coherent 100% of the time as the clips made it seem but also just the week to week content, assuming you got into the fandom outside of a subathon isn't that great, either in quantity or quality. You go from seemingly infinite content to "Oh...2 chillstreams, a karaoke and a boring collab, wow..." enough weeks in a row and pretty quickly you're not watching enough Neuro on a regular basis to keep you from drifting away.

This year the average content has been so bad it's even killing the clip channels which says it all really.

Personally speaking, I just barely caught up with watching yesterdays stream. At this point with the intelligence upgrades and fine tuning to fix her initial problems I think this new Neuro is...about as good as the previous version. Like, actually I can barely sense any meaningful difference, it might as well be the same Neuro. Which is good in a sense, but bad in a "New Smarter Model will improve the content!" sense. Maybe if Vedal actually lets her play games again ever the intelligence boost will help a little.

I think the content is the biggest problem over the past several months. Not just losing Dev Streams, but not replacing them with anything of value. The default Tuesday/Thursday chillslop schedule is DREADFUL at this point. The worst thing about Vedal being "back" is that he's done nothing to fix the content problem and is just continuing on the same track to oblivion.

It might sound weird but I do this too to prevent me from burning out, feeling fomo dominated me often caused me to feel like watching was a chore, like masturbating when you don't wanna
I still like Neuro as a result but sometimes I feel like i'm stuck in the past and present when talking, but I enjoy at the end of the day

I like the cinematography at 1:17. The sudden closeup to Evil and relatively slow moving cameras lets Evil's motions be more readily digested.
I also like the matching diagonal shots around 1:22. The slow rolling of the camera at 1:27 nicely complements Evil's wave.
The zooms at 1:49 match Evil's fist pumps.
I think my favourite part is at 2:28 where the camera moves very slowly, allowing us to see Evil's body language.

However, it ultimately feels like the camera is being moved very quickly to make up for how inexpressive the 3d model is. The fist shaking at 1:59 looks weightless and feels weak. I'm not sure if there's much body language being used here. The elbow push at 1:30 looks weak and her face lacks emotion.

I can't see a single point where her irises move, perhaps that's why the face seems so inexpressive.
