As far as your brain is concerned, there is no difference between a vtuber and traditional audiovisual media like movies or series where you develop a crush on a girl who talks to you through another onscreen male. Because the brain cannot actually tell apart fiction from reality, same principle as porn. fyi, a lot of that into is misrepresented. For example all the dopamine stuff and things like "masturbation is the same high as meth/coke" that people throw around. Overall if you hear an influencer talk about dopamine maybe just tune out because its become some catch all chemical in certain areas online.
